Main Applications:
In the electroplating industry, zinc chloride is used as an additive for zinc ions in ammonium galvanizing
In the dyeing and weaving industry, zinc chloride is used as a mordant, mercerizing agent and sizing agent.
In the organic industry, zinc chloride is used as a solvent for polyacrylonitrile, a contact agent for organic synthesis, a dehydrating agent and a deodorizing agent. Condensation agent, deodorizer.
In the inorganic industry, zinc chloride is used as an activator in the production of activated carbon, which makes the activated carbon porous and increases its surface area. It is also used as a raw material for the manufacture of anti-soluble foam fire extinguishing liquid and the production of zinc cyanide.
